Burley Scouts Quiz Night
Please note that this year’s Scout Quiz night, the 13th I have run, is on FRIDAY 9TH OCTOBER 2026, 7 for 7:30 in the Burley Village Hall.
All monies raised will again go towards providing more facilities for the group.
Tables (teams) to be made up of 6 to 8 people.
If you cannot get 6 or 8, I am sure it would be possible to make up a table with others.
The quiz will be varied in that there are music, picture, general knowledge, sport and food / drink rounds.
The food this year will be a choice of lasagne or chicken curry and the vegetarian option is macaroni cheese.
The cost will be £15 a head.
Please bring your own drinks and some cash for the raffle.
I hope that the evening will be one to enjoy, where you can pit your wits against the other teams.

On the 25th March 1945, Mrs Wathen-Bartlett very kindly signed the lease of the club over to the working men of Burley. Planned 75th anniversary commemorations in 2020, sadly had to be cancelled.
Exactly 4,249 weeks later, we celebrated on Sunday 30th August at The Wathen-Bartlett.
